¡¡¡¡¡¡The Anshan Folk Art and
Operas Group was established by the former Anshan Peking
Opera troupes, including the Pingju Opera Troupe along
with other folk art groups, on September 12, 2000. Many
emerging and famous artists come from this city, such
as Yang Jianzhong (famous for playing the role of Little
Ling Tong) in the Qi style of Peking opera; reknown storytellers
Liu Lanfang, Shan Tianfang, Zhang Hefang; the famous comedy
sketch actor Wang Ping; Pingju style opera performing
artists Li Shaoyan, Zhang Jinqiu. The group has visited
many countries including Britain, Germany, Japan, Turkey
and South Korea., on artistic and cultural exchanges.
The Group has also performed throughout China including
many award winning performances in Beijing and Shanghai.
¡¡¡¡¡¡After the culture system reforms, Anshan folk art and
operas group¡¯s motto became " Try Pursuit of Excellence
is Our Goal ". The group achieves this through the
education and cultivation of a group of outstanding performers
such as Yu Qiuping,Huang Tiebao,Cao Hua, Xiao Jie, Pan
Ziqiang,Liu Hongyi. While giving exposure to the experienced
performer,the director also pays attention to training
the opera novice. The novice performers are all graduates
from various opera academies.In the process,the group
and individual members have been awarded many prizes at
the national level.
¡¡¡¡¡¡Since the foundation of the people¡¯s republic of China
in 1949, our group had performed Peking opera classics
such as " Fight Tongtai " , " Getting Bad
Luck " , " Four Doctorates ", " Heros
from Xue¡¯s family", " Four sons Visit Their
Mother "; Pingju Style opera of " Little Son-in-Law
", " Stealing Gold Brick ", " Wandering
around Hong Kong ", "Liaohe River Bay".
Many of the pieces have far-reaching influence within
China and have been performed continuously and have won
the most warm welcome and high praise from audiences. |
